Library Director’s Report:
Director Ennen reported:
May 19: 6 PM Reception for Greg Walter. His art is currently displayed in the library.
Unfinished Business:
Space Planning:
May 17-19: Request to close lower level of library so staff can rearrange the shelving and other items. Approved MSP
Library Foundation:
May 11, 2:00 PM: USDA loan presentation.
Friends of the Library:
Annual Meeting will be May 19, 2022.
Book Mobile Replacement: Dave Clem and Leah Upchurch of the city are working on a grant for the replacement of diesel vehicles. The library has
accumulated $183,000. The grant would cover the rest.
Summer Reading Kickoff:
May 28: A food truck and ice cream truck will be present.
They need volunteers.
New Business:
Staffing: 4 Part-time position are needed. 14 people have applied.
